Pick the trip. We'll route the points.

Tell us your goal → we crunch the numbers → you get a card routing plan: how many points, which cards in which order, and when to start checking availability.

We only ask questions that are essential. No contact info required. Won't affect your credit score.

How the numbers work

Route-level award estimates. Each entry names one loyalty program, the transferable currencies that reach it, and a points range per person round trip (flights) or per night (hotels), taken from a cited source on the verification date. The low end is a sweet-spot or off-peak price, the high end a normal saver-level price. Award pricing is dynamic — confirm the live price before transferring points.

Regional estimate bands (used when we have no sourced route for a destination): Editorial estimate ranges, not live award prices. Points ranges reflect what well-executed transfer-partner bookings have typically cost across published sweet-spot charts and our own award searches; the low end is an off-peak/sweet-spot booking, the high end is a normal saver-level award. Cash ranges are typical advance-purchase retail fares for the same cabin. Award pricing is dynamic and devalues over time — treat these as planning targets and always confirm the live price before transferring points.

Route catalog updated 2026-09; regional bands 2026-09. Point values use our deliberately conservative valuations. Card links go straight to the issuer; we have no affiliate links today, and if we add any they will be labeled and never change the math. Affiliate disclosure · Full methodology · Data status

Travel Goal Planner FAQ

Is the Travel Goal Planner really free?

Yes. Your points target, estimated card sequence and timeline are shown without an email or account. Save the link or print a copy. Newsletter signup is separate and does not monitor your plan or send booking alerts.

Where do the points numbers come from?

They are editorial estimate ranges based on published transfer-partner sweet spots and our own award searches, refreshed monthly and deliberately conservative. Award pricing is dynamic, so always confirm the live price before transferring points.

Does using the planner affect my credit score?

No. The planner does zero credit checks — it only does math on numbers you type in. Actually applying for a card later involves a hard inquiry, which the plan spaces out deliberately.

Why does the plan put Chase cards first?

Chase declines most applications once you've opened 5 personal cards in the last 24 months (the 5/24 rule). Other issuers don't count your Chase history the same way — so postponing a Chase card can cost you the card, while postponing others costs nothing.
